Ubuntu powered smartphones may beat Android phones


Increasing smartphones are bringing new passion to users when it comes to using the phones more smartly. Android operating system has brought a new way of using phones, let it be social sharing, social networking, support of various apps, stability, performance and of course more secure. Android is a also a open source platform and framing its base in many smartphones.


When it comes to Ubuntu, it is a Linux powered most successful user-friendly operating system which gives a good community support to all its users. Being a major OS in Linux, it is now bringing Ubuntu powered smartphone. 


Ubuntu Unity Interface: Ubuntu has a clean interface which gives a feel of heavy and stable OS in your phone. For geeks it is more easy to use as they are more handy with the options and usability of the phones.

Synchronization of the OS: the OS(operating system) used in the phone is used in Desktop and Laptops. No need to get a third party application which sync the data and user profile settings which can be used to get the same environment for the user.

Easy OS upgrades: In Android OS, version changes and the user has to change the phone and get the latest powered Android phones. But with the option to upgrade in Ubuntu OS, user can upgrade the smartphone OS same way as used in upgrading desktops and laptops. User may not change the hardware and get new OS updates easily.

Access to Linux software: With Ubuntu smartphones, user can get access to their daily used software like LibreOffice, Gimp or may also use Wine utility to use Microsoft software. Ubuntu OS can give a bundled user-friendly software used on Desktops and Laptops.
